Working Principle
The disc stack centrifuge separates solids and liquid phases in a continuous process using extremely high centrifugal forces. Denser solids are forced outward against the rotating bowl wall, while less dense liquid phases form concentric inner layers. The interface position between phases can be adjusted to ensure maximum separation efficiency.
The disc stack provides additional surface settling area, dramatically accelerating the separation process. The specific configuration, shape, and design of these plates enable continuous separation of various solids from one or two liquids. Solids can be removed continuously, intermittently, or manually depending on application requirements.
